obviously not the *entire* API has been changed. the compatibility between 0.6 and 0.7 (and 0.8 when it'll be released) has been changed so you can't just compiled an application depending on clutter-0.6 against clutter-0.7 (and clutter-0.8) and expect the compilation to succeed (API) or the application to work (ABI); that's why we install clutter headers under a versioned directory and use the version number in the shared object and the pkg-config file. ciao, Emmanuele. -- Emmanuele Bassi, OpenedHand Ltd.
