Hi all, Several days ago(8/18), I downloaded the Moblin2 OS from it's official website and installed on my PC. But it is very slowly ,and then I find that the mutter process take up the CPU up to 100%. I search from the internet and find that maybe it is caused by my Nvidia video card and then I install the Nvidia driver(190.25) and update to xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.6.1.901 from Fedora 11.
After that it becomes fluency but the 7 applications(myzone,status,people,internet,media,applications,pasteboard) become translucent,abnormal and could not display anything. Now only the panel and dalston-power-applet,dalston-volume-applet,carrick-connect-applet is running normally and fluently. Then I download the source rpms from the repo.moblin.org and find that the 7 applications all have two entries in the main function, one is standalone and another is not. I changed them from non standalone to standalone and find that all of them could run normally while they have no relations of mutter's panel. Can anyone give me any clew about that, and I also want to know: 1)Could we say that two objects is rendered at the same time while two programs which use the clutter library are running at the same time? 2)I also find that Nvidia could not support DRI2 but the Intel could support. Does it have relation of this issue? 3)I heard of that the new mutter-moblin uses multi-process method but I could not find the diffrence about that, could any not who know this give me some ideas?(Ps: I ever downgrade the version of mutter-monlin to 0.27.10, clutter and its dependancy packages to v0.9, and then it could also run normally. ) Thanks in advance and hope for your reply.
