I like the bug tracker. Even people that use it, however, know that hitting up the mailing list tends to improve the chance that the bug is actually researched and fixed. Also, sometimes it seems wrong to take an issue raised on the mailing list and force it into the bug tracker. It seems a little rude to the person that emailed about the issue because you might be asking them to deal with the rigmarole of creating a mantis account when they already went through the hassle of joining the mailing list and making the post. -- Philip Lowman
