According to state inspectors, there is only one criteria for restraint
and that is "if the resident cannot remove on command, it is a
restraint". comments please.
We have been told the same thing...it is hard to understand because many
of these residents cannot remove the "restraint" on command but if THEY
WANT to they certainly CAN remove them (I am talking mainly about seat
belt alarms - I think seat belt alarms are very effective but state
hated them!!)
