Each time you print the 672 from your computer you must edit
it manually because all data is derived from MDSs, some of
which were done more than a month ago.
The 672 asks for what is happening that day in your
facility. This is what the survey team takes back to
headquarters and converts to part of the oscar reports, the
facility profile.

I hope you are speaking about changing the computer
print-out for the
802/.672, because despite you're posting this 3 times, it
still doesn't make
any sense. Section F131 on the 672 report "restorative
services" provided
by or under the direction of a therapist. Technically,
your computer should
compile this information from section P of the MDS. If you
want to alter
the format of the print-out, some computer programs will
allow you to
collect your report and then edit it. Unfortunately, you
must do this
everytime you wish to do a print out or the MDS's done
since the last
collection will be left out. Since the corrections, such
as removing a
cath, are not saved after editing, you need to do the whole
thing over
again. Trust me, it's a lot easier to do this unpleasant,
time consuming,
regulatory task daily from a collection of the daily
orders. I have tried
every way under the sun and the associated planets!
