November issue Nursing Homes

I just received my first issue of Nursing Homes  LTC Management…(not sure how I got on their mailing list but I am glad I did) 1.  Feature article is about MDS and the legal implications ie litigation……I know this is a touchy subject…but any legal experts out there have an opinion on  the “average” malpractice insurance policy for staff nurses – is it adequate insurance coverage for the MDS coordinator?   2. Rena has written an interesting guest editorial…thanks Rena…I will be putting a copy of it on my DON’s desk in the morning, well maybe  Tuesday…I don’t want it to get lost in the Monday morning pile.
