An OMRA is required only if the resident is staying on Medicare after ALL rehab is d/c'd. As a side note:
An OMRA is also done if you are placing a resident back onto rehab services. The other stipulation is to do a Significant change as well if there was a decline in function from the initial discharge of rehab services. Glenn Gorleski (Barnes) RAC-C
