| We obtain an admission order (T/O to admit to Medicare) from the physician, therefore we get a discharge from Medicare order (T/O) from the physician. The date of discharge on the T/O matches the date of discharge on the Denial letter. Our physicians have always wanted to know the date we were discharging the resident from Medicare and occasionally (a rare occasionally) the physician might not feel the resident is ready to come off Medicare, therefore we have a discussion. |
