DAVE Audit

I have just attended part of an on-site DAVE audit.  The two auditors were very nice, nonconfrontational and took a teaching approach.  They met with the team members to compare the assessments they did with the ones done within the prior 2 weeks.  I think it is safe to say we all learned something.   Best advice to anyone wanting to learn from our experience: Read every question and example.  Answer that question without reading into it.  Insure you have documentation in the medical record to support every answer.    Cheryl
