I don't have the recipes with me but some of the ideas are:
Brown sugar and butter on hot oatmeal or
cream of wheat (supercereal)
Mashed potatoes made with whole milk then
put extra pats of butter on the top
Creamed soups made with whole milk and add
butter
Ice Cream for desserts and snacks
When I get back after the holiday I could get the actual recipes from one
of our facilities if you like. We tend to make these as rich yet tasty
as possible for the residents. Whole milk and butter is the basis
for most of the changes.

Subject: Help for Weight Loss
Some time ago, we had a discussion about
souped up receipes to help stabilize weight loss or regain wt. I
thought I had saved these, but can't find them anywhere! A firend of
mine has his dad in the Hospital where they have dx'd cancer of the
vertebrae of the spine. He had lost about 50# in 4 months. I
remember that someone had mentioned supercereal, and some other stuff, but
my memory has left.
If anyone kept any of these receipes, or
were the people who sent them in, or know when I can look for new ideas,
please let me know privately, so as not to plug up the listserv.
Thanks!
Corey
