My current therapy manager insists that she may project visits/minutes in Section T1b,c,d regardless of the evaluation date. In other words if the evaluation is performed after day 8 and no minutes have been delivered. The therapy was ordered on admission but had to be delayed. When I reviewed the RAI manual it states to review for therapy to begin in the first 14 days of stay. Then speak to theapyto determine if the initial eval is Completed and Tx scheduled.
My point is if the eval has not been performed how can an accurrate projection be made.
Is my understanding accurrate?
