If this person was receiving therapy, and perhaps went home in a w/c, while learning to walk again, why not a therapeutic leave for THanksgiving w/ family.  I certainly wouldn't want to be sitting in the SNF while my family was hogging turkey & cranberries!   Aafter the 3 days, I would return for my therapies.  No big deal, and ok by CMS.

Can someone pls tell me what to do when a Medicare person went out on pass/therapeutic bedhold and they were out for 3-4 days (went home for Thanksgiving).
Doesn't sound like they have a DAILY skilled need, does it?
