There is no regulation about how early a quarterly can be done.  It is acceptable to 
do 4 quarterlies in a year if you want.  The R2b can be no later than the R2b of the 
previous assessment, but no regulation about a date that would be too soon.  Her 
facility's software might be the issue.  Some software's have parameters to use so the 
MDS scheduler will work.

I have been talking with another MDS Coordinator in the area about ARD
dates. She did a Quarterly on day 80. This is a Non-Medicare resident. Her
facility is telling her that she did it 2 days too early. I have never heard
of a time frame for doing the Quarterlys, other than that they must be
completed within 92 days of last R2b date. Does anyone have any comment or
info share?
