Heidi,
What software do you use, mine will not accept in the system if I change
it in the header because I think that is how it is compared in the system, I
can only change it in the section in the MDS portion in the software, not
where I created the "software identifier #".

Subject: SUBMITTED MDS WITH WRONG MEDICARE AND SS #

WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU HAVE SUBMITTED AN MDS TO CMS WITH THE WRONG MEDICARE #
AND SS #????

WE MODIFIED THE RECORD FOR THE STATE SYSTEM AS THEY REQUESTED BUT CMS IS
REJECTING THE RECORD.

WHAT IS THE CORRECT THING TO DO.

PLEASE HELP.

FRUSTRATED AND CONFUSED.
