therapy has a question for the group.
It is concerning ST sessions....if they are ordered 3x/week for 2 weeks. An example ST ordered
on Wednesday, Nov. 12th.
Are they limited to 6
sessions....11/12, 11/14, 11/17, 11/19, 11/21, and 11/24? Or could they
use the 2 weeks going from Wednesday to Wednesday (11/12 to 11/26)? By doing this they could see the resident
for a total of 8 or 9 visits without going past the 2 weeks. For example, ST would see on 11/12,
11/14, 11/17, 11/19, 11/21, 11/24, 11/25, and 11/26. Therefore ST is still following the order of
3x/week but is seeing for more than 6 sessions. Thanks, Ann |
