We have a patient who was nonweightbearing due to an acetabular
fracture, used some Medicare days initially and now has toe touch
weightbearing with progression to weightbearing as tolerated (within 30
days of being given denial). Can we put them back on as soon as we
receive the order for PT or do we wait until they have done the
evaluation and received clarification orders for PT 5 days a week? PT
will do eval tomorrow but I asked the doctor to sign the cert today.
