2 step PPD's have been required in WAshington State since 1985 on all
admissions to a NH for residents over 35 yrs. old.  1 step for under 35.
Staff must have this also and a single test yearly.  Haven't had to do
yearly tests on residents yet.

Yes, Melissa, it is mandatory in Maryland. Our state seems to have
additional regulations for many things. Like we are one of the few states
where we need written permission and a medical order for influenza and
pneumococcal vaccines.
