If she has been gone for 1 year, I would restart the process over.
There is no way to continue the OBRA schedule no matter what the d/c
tracking states.  I think that the d/c tracking regulations were set up
for short term stays in the hospital, etc.

Good Morning!  A facility has a resident return who was DC'd to the 
hospital in Dec 2002 as AA8a=7.  Her family took her home instead of 
returning her to the facility.  Now she returns.  If a AA8a=7 is 
followed by AA8a=9, would you do that and follow w/AA8a=2?  Seems
strange?
