If this resident has gone to a noncertified bed and not to the hospital while during a medicare stay, then the pps cycle starts over with a 5 day mc assessment.  You will also need to start the obra cycle over again, ie start with an admission assessment, since the resident went to a noncertified bed.   Brenda W.
