Ok I am asking again,  Can Rec Therapy co-treat with Physical Therapy
and each count the entire number of minutes they worked with the
patient? I know we have to split time if it is between  OT or Speech
therapy and Physical Therapy, but I am unsure about Rec Therapy.
Where would rec therapy count there minute?  Are you talking about section T?

If so have you read the instructions carefully? To count you must have a MD order for a resident specific (not general) therapy program with all the accompanying goals, documentation and assessments by a state or nationally certified Recreational Thedrapeutic Specialist.

We never have MD's orer specific therapy programs so I never count it.

If you did I don't see why you couldn't count it in both places, it doesn't affect thr RUG score.
