We started a family conference at the beginning of this year
and the family members that were present for the first meeting wanted me present
at the next one. I gathered info from the internet and present the next
one and explained that staff were not to be involved unless they asked.
They met every other week for the first month and then monthly after that.
The family members voted on who to run the meetings.

Subject: family council
Hi,
I have a question please, how
many of you at Nursing Homes have a "family council"? Who runs it? How often
does it meet? and if no, why not?
Thank you.
