I have a resident who was in a MVA an sustained a fracture to her tibia. She is in a full leg cast. My dilemma; showing a weight gain and triggered on raps. Can I put no for weight change since she has the cast and we do not know what the weight of the cast is? Or can I put yes to the weight gain and document on raps that she has a full cast on her leg and is not a true weight gain?
