I would have your friend find out what resources they are referring to.  I would not pay the bill until I knew exactly what I was paying for.  If this resident is part a and then going to a ‘caid co-pay on the 21st day, I don’t know what they could be billing her for, unless she is in a private room and this is the rate difference between the semi-private and private.   Brenda W. Even through we do not bill individual services or items to Medicare Part A they should be listed on the UB92. I have a billing question... are resources charged to a person when on MCR  A?  or just when MCD comes into effect?
