If the
patient has received 20 days of restorative rehab (30 min/day x 5 days a week)
within the 28 day look back period for the PRI, they can be rugged as
restorative rehab. If they have not received the 20 days in that period, the
rehab section would be coded as '4' - receives therapy but does not meet the
qualifiers, and they would be captured in the next level that they qualify for.
Only with a resident admitted during the look back period are you able to
project that they will qualify for the rehab category.
