Submitting these does NOT create problems but not completing/submitting as per Medicare could create an issue for the facility. Some HMOs follow the same schedule as Medicare. Even if they don't, if you do not follow the Medicare schedule and you find the resident is Medicare, you subject yourself to possible loss of Medicare if you don't follow the schedule.
