You can skill for nursing care plan management, providing that there are things being done that can only be done by a nurse. What about pain management? The flap still has to be monitored by a nurse for healing purposes, infection, ect. And if there is a foley cath, monitoring for a UTI is a must. Can do I&O's. As for restorative, what about communication? Need more info about the resident. And I would get the therapy orders immediately that state that she will start therapy after a three week delay d/t weight bearing status. The therapy needs to start within 30 days and a doctors order stating the delay is acceptable for skilling down the road if you can't find enough to skill for during the three weeks. Just some suggestions.
