Karren,

Doing a test transmission is a good idea because it enables you to correct any warnings, if possible, or any fatal errors before sending as production.  I think the major concern is that you do not forget to change it from test to production.

When transmitting…what is the purpose of sending a test transmission?  When I trained in this position, I was told NEVER send a test transmission but they couldn’t give me an answer to why not.  Well guess what I have really wanted to do!!! But have restrained myself until I become more informed.
