I think what she was asking was could you combine a quarterly with a 30 day or 60 day PPS assessment and the answer is yes. You can combine any OBRA assessment and PPS assessment together when possible. This saves greatly on your workload.

No you can't. An OBRA assessment can be combined with a PPS assessment because the OBRA assessment is timed on a yearly schedule and the PPS assessment is set at specific DAYS. Therefore, if you combine a 30 day with a 60 day, you will not be able to find any day in the assessment periods that will not get you a default payment for at least a few days. I am including an attachment on scheduling PPS assessments with the grace days so that you will understand more easily.
