You can't combine a 30 and 60 day assessment but you can combine either a 30 or a 60 with a quarterly.  Depends on how you interpret the original question how you answer this one.

No you can't.  An OBRA assessment can be combined with a PPS assessment because the OBRA assessment is timed on a yearly schedule and the PPS assessment is set at specific DAYS.  Therefore, if you combine a 30 day with a 60 day, you will not be able to find any day in the assessment periods that will not get you a default payment for at least a few days.  I am including an attachment on scheduling PPS assessments with the grace days so that you will understand more easily.

Subject: Mix 30/30d w/a Qtr?

I have several residents that are completing their 100d, but will remain long term. Over last 3yrs haven't had this scenerio,  I realize that I can mix a 90 day and qtr together, but can you do the same with a 30 and 60 day?

Thank you,

Claudia
