You can use grace days on any assessment as long as it benefits the resident and you are not incorporating them with an OBRA assessment that has a completion timeline (ie admission assessment that has to be completed by 14th day).
Did this resident move to a noncertified bed? If he did and you completed d/c tracking with return not anticipated, then the admission assessment will have to be completed again!
