it becomes somewhat stickey to state end of life since of cours we're not 
God. we write comfort care only. also I checked with the MDS help desk in 
Illinois and unless you have good documentation in the progress notes, ect... I do 
not code 6 mos or less to live in sec J5 even if they're on Hospice. How many 
times have we seen someone on Hospice for a few years and the md documents doing 
fine.
