I wouldn't automatically give her 100 days, being as her trach is so old. However, I'd closely monitor her and if & when she returnd to baseline take her off Med A at that time.

    I have a resident who exhausted her 100 days. Had a wellness period greater then 60 days because she was at home. This resident has a trach for greater th en 13 years. Went to hosp , met her Part A requirments. Physcial therapy and ot picked up for 3 weeks, since , this resident had a wellness period at home ,I could skill for one hudred s regarding trach care with cont's mist , suction prn, wright????????????????
