We have a resident who received blood transfusion
in the hospital, within 14 days from ARD.
This was documented in the transfer summary which was
signed by MD.
Can we code blood transfusion in Section
P even if we don't have the actual MAR with nurses'
signature (what we have is only transfer summary with
MD signature)indicating that BT was given?
