We consider all tube feedings to be therapeutic, since the tube feeding is being used to manage a health condition--such as dysphagia, malnutrition, pressure ulcer, other open wound, diabetes, absorption difficulty, coma, etc. Of course, being unable to take in enough food orally to sustain life is, in and by itself, a "problematic health condition"... Any other ideas?
