Can someone tell me how the VA case mix works. What I know so far is that they use
the 34 RUG groupers. Do they use the index maximizing or hierarchical version?
Do they take a quarterly score of all residents in house on the last day of the
quarter or only medicaid residents? If it's all residents, what happens to PPS
assessments that grouped out in rehab categories? Do they get regrouped into RAA,
RAB, RAC and RAD? How does this work?
Can someone also tell me where to go on the web to find this info.
