Joe,  the ratio  for groups for Restorative programs is 4 to one.  The programs will count as long as each individual resident receives their complete program and you meet the time frame of 15 minutes or more per individual program.  A regular exercise group where the activity is a ball toss or another activity involving muscle movement is a good thing and considered an adjunct to a resident's individualized program, if they have one; but does not count as a planned, systematic ROM program. Can you run an AROM group (if you ran the group of 4 for 30 minutes and you had 2 care givers - all would get 15 minutes of service but we would be running it in a group setting for the socialization aspect.)  I know that you can claim credit for dining groups as long as everyone gets 15 minutes but I am not sure if they have ever said yeah or nay to exercise groups.  Just curious.
