I get my certs to the docs a full seven days prior to the date they need to be signed.
I still get some back dated after the allowable time. This doesn't seem to be in my
control, but my guess is that the physician wouldn't be held
responsible but that I would. Any suggestions? I sent a letter out explaining the
importance of timely dated certifications and re-certifications. Physicians don't
seem to understand, nor do they want to. I even get them back with everything on the
certification signed and dated with the intial cert date -- the original cert, day 14,
44 and 74. Was told a while back, that I can't insert the date I want it signed by as
the physician must sign and date on the actual day s/he signs it and this makes sense.
