All pressure ulcers are counted on your QI report, no matter which state. They are further subdivided into high and low risk. Those in the high risk include bed mobility and transfers coded as 3 or 4, comatose, malnutrition, end stage disease. Other are considered low risk and would be considered a sentinel health event. Admission assessments are excluded from your profile.
