Therapy does ROM and Balance testing with their Initial Eval.  But, we have
some issues with them performing the testing the way it's supposed to be
done.  They feel that testing them for sitting balance on the edge of the
bed with their feet dangling is acceptable.  Also, testing them for standing
balance with their feet at hip width apart, when it's supposed to be feet
together.  It is difficult getting info for subsequent observation periods
after the initial assessment.  They seem to only comment about their balance
while walking, balance while reaching outside the base of support, balance
when turning the corner, etc.  It makes my life difficult, but I've had
little success in getting the answers I need.
