Therapy does ROM and Balance testing with their Initial Eval. But, we have some issues with them performing the testing the way it's supposed to be done. They feel that testing them for sitting balance on the edge of the bed with their feet dangling is acceptable. Also, testing them for standing balance with their feet at hip width apart, when it's supposed to be feet together. It is difficult getting info for subsequent observation periods after the initial assessment. They seem to only comment about their balance while walking, balance while reaching outside the base of support, balance when turning the corner, etc. It makes my life difficult, but I've had little success in getting the answers I need.
