I too stress that your letters should be like what the snf manual recommends[HIM12].I
believe the manual can still be found on the net.Rena,yes or no.You don't want the FI
to deny the claim on a technical issue like a noncompliant snf letter or a poor
physician certification.We had one claim held up because the FI couldn't understand
why the family didn't respond to the letter for 2 weeks.They tried their best to prove
we didn't issue it in a timely mannerwhich was not the case.We did make our point
finally but the claim was tied up awhile.
