We have a space that is marked for physician notification on our telephone order sheets.  It also includes a space for resident/responsible party notification.  It is great.  Just takes a check mark and it is considered done.  Of course, the reason, ect., is still documented in the notes, but the order sheets are a good prompt. Sherri     We recently received a deficiency on "Failure to Notify Physician". My question to the group is - does any one have any guidelines on Physician Notification they would be willing to share? We found one on the AMDA website that was pretty good, but are looking for as many resources as possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Holly QI in CT
