I am the sole MDS coordinator in a 97 bed
dually certified facility. In addition to my MDS responsibilities which
include
completing MDS, RAPs, and care plans with the
IDT, I am also a Certified Wound Specialist so I measure, document and make
tx recommendations on all pressure ulcers and partial to full thickness
wounds weekly and as needed. I am also the Restorative Coordinator with a
staff of 2 Restorative CNA's. I attend all appropriate meetings. I love
my job! I am never bored and always challenged!
