My error,meant to say the 2 omissions would NOT impact plan of care,but would increase
the revenue for the next 14 days considerably.I guess I must get on my SOAPBOX and say
how fortunate I am that my facility has 2 MDS coordinators.I get to concentrate on the
reimbursement side of the equation and my counterpart gets to do the longterm care
part and improve our qualty indicators thru the careplanning process.This MDS world is
more complex and has such impact on facilities.It is TOO bad many DONs and
Administrators don't understand.
