WHEN THE THERAPIES HAVE DERTERMINED THAT A RESIDENT HAS AACHIEVE HIS/OR HER GOALS, OUR FACILITY HAS A 72 HR NOTICED POLICY THAT ALERTS RESIDENT, FAMILY, BILLING AND NURSING STAFF AND MD TO BEGIN DISCHARGE PROCEDURE: WILL HE NEED HH PT/OT/ST EVAL. WHAT DME WILL BE NEEDED,ETC.
IF RESIDENT RUNS OUT OF MED A DAYS AND IT IS DISCOVERED LATER, DENIAL OF SERVICES WILL BE ON THE DATE DAYS ENDED. THIS ALSO APPLIES IF RESIDENT IS NONCOMPLIANT WITH THERAPY.
