Once you have issued her denial, she goes back to her MA payment. If she does not have a reason for an OBRA assessment you do not have to do an MDS unless your state requires one. Billing will make an adjustment in their system as to her current payor status.

I have a question and I cant believe I forgot this...I think I'm having TIA's!!!!
Pt is MA goes out has qualifying stay--comes back medicare therapy does NOT pick her up stays medicare for 21 days NOW 5 day was done and a 14 day....How does she go back to MA???? Do I have to do a MA change???
