I know it may not be the most popular opinion, but I would like to chime in and say that, while there are surveyors out there who are somewhat challenged as well as challenging, there are also many who are intelligent, fair and really care about what they are doing.   Also, we have surveyors who participate in this group, and the ones who I am familiar with are always helpful and informative in their answers here.   Respectfully, Holly Holly F.
