I used
maggots in the past 2 years for a BKA stump infected with MRSA.
Cleaned the wound beautifully in about 2 weeks..resident had a revision of the
stump and now has a prosthesis. Tried it on another resident but the
hospital had put the first group/dose/family? of maggots on and they
didn't get them on right...I did another dose but the resident was so frail
he died before they could work. Gail
