Title: Message
Hey, I remember doing deliveries as a new graduate in L & D, with no gloves on. Just used warm blankets to clean up baby, and washed our hands afterwards.

And don't forget, those were the days where you didn't wear gloves except in the OR. I worked as an aide in the mid 70's and I also remember going around after dinner and collecting the baby food jars full of urine that were on the rails outside the patient rooms so we could do the urine dip sticks for the diabetics.

I guess I haven't been a nurse long enough to have enjoyed the maalox
thing.
I wonder what else I have missed out on.  I've only been a nurse since
'97.
I am also new to this group and so far I love it.
