Fwd: can resident be skilled for MC?

Tried this question last week with no response - anyone have a thought on this?

--- Begin Message --- A long term MA resident with a tube feeding for last two years recently turned 65 & had a 3 day hospital stay for Pneumonia. Can he be skilled for Medicare now that he is eligible? or does the fact that he has had a tube feeding preclude this? Thanks
