This
discussion about EARLY surveys has been interesting. I would like to point
out that the Survey team has a window for annual surveys. That window is 3
months prior to or after the date of the previous survey.

It has been my experience that the state DOH
surveys are driven by the QIs on the 802 report, previous deficiencies and as
always dehydration, malnutrition, fecal impaction.

Hello everyone. We just got a visit from the State. They
are approximately 3 months early for our survey. I was wondering if
anyone in PA could tell me what they have been looking at/for in other
facilities. I'm located in the Lehigh Valley. Any info would be
appreciated.
